Ed Deane & Eamon Murray
Way back in the 60's a fantastic young band hit the scene with a bang, they we're called Blues House and two of its members were then school friends Ed Deane and Eamon Murray. Now nearly 50 years later these two talented musicians are playing together again. as a very exciting duo.
Ed Deane one of Irelands leading guitarist who is a renowned blues musician, specializing in Slide and the Lap steel guitar and a fine singer.
The list of who he played with in London is endless; for much of the 90's Ed worked with the blues diva Dana Gillespie, then with Chris Jagger, Paul Jones, Shane McGowan and later with Bap Kennedy and Nick Lowe.
Ed appeared in the Mike Figgis movie ‘Stormy Sunday’. He contributed substantially to the soundtrack and was the only featured guitarist apart from B.B. King.
Ed has also played on the soundtracks of the films ‘Leaving Las Vegas’ and ‘Serendipity’.
Eamon Murray is one of Ireland's top harmonica players, an excellent tenor sax player, who is also a good singer.
He has worked with too many line ups to mention including Emotional Fish and Luka Bloom. He has worked on a number of film sound tracks including the award winning ' Kings'.
With outstanding guitar, sax and harmonica, solo and harmony vocalists – they tackle an intriguing selection of some of their own material and songs from such tunesmiths as Skip James, Buddy Guy, Bobby Charles and Little Walter Jacobs.

Ed Deane Band
Ed Deane is one of Ireland's greatest Blues guitar players with a career spanning six decades, from the late 1960s to the present day. He is a renowned blues musician, playing the electric and acoustic guitar, and specializing in Slide guitar and the Lap steel guitar.
"In over thirty years of making a living as a musician, Irish guitarist Ed Deane has been a member of so many different groups, he’s probably forgotten half of them himself. On his instrumental album Slideshow, Ed revels in playing a different style on each tune, and comes up with a moment of magic in the one he calls ‘Way Out East’. (Charlie Gillett. The Sound of The World, BBC World Service)
True! He played with too many artists to list them here, but a few of the names would be Dana Gillespie, Gary Moore, Phil Lynott, Alexis Korner, Chris Farlowe, Shane McGowan, and Van Morrison. He also recorded an album with Mick Jagger.
The geographical locations where he toured with various bands span from the UK to mainland Europe (he lived in France for four years), the US and India.
